Obama Promises are Worthless

Once again let's document with direct facts that show how Obama is an incompetent airhead who either can't or won't keep even his most basic promises.

Remember his second day in office?  He promised to shut down Guantanamo prison within a year.  But now he admits that won't happen.

"WASHINGTON - President Barack Obama on Thursday moved quickly to undo a contentious Bush administration national security program, ordering the CIA to close down secret overseas prisons and the Pentagon to close down the Guantanamo prison within a year. The president also banned the harshest interrogation methods."

Imagine, this is a military matter very much under the direct control of the Commander in Chief and yet he can't even keep his word on this.  I told you when it happened the whole thing looked like a Saturday Night Live (SNL) skit because it was done in such an amateurish fashion.  See my blog piece written at the time:  Executive Order at Guantanamo Prison

I predicted additional terrorist attacks under this weak leader and now we have had one by an operative inside the military.  Result:  13 dead and many more wounded.  Look for more attacks in the future.

Was this too tough of a promise to keep for our narrow shouldered leader?  OK... let's look at another promise.  He promised to make sure bills would be posted on the internet for several days before they would be voted on by the Congress.  Well, once again he did not keep his promise.

In short, Obama's promises are worthless!  The American people need to contact their television and radio networks and let them know that anytime this liar appears on their air they will switch channels or turn off the radio or TV completely.

Why?  Because they are tired of hearing his out and out lies and are simply refusing to hear them anymore.  They should learn through zero ratings not to cover his daily TelePrompTer reading sessions because what he says means nothing.

So now Obama is promising that if you let him manage your health care it will be cheaper with better service. As I've tried to teach in the past, when a liberal speaks all you need to know is that they are 180 degrees out of phase almost without fail.  So this means the government health care would actually be more expensive with worse service for the patients.

Really folks....  if he can't keep these much simpler promises are you going to rely on his promises regarding the health care for you and your family where life and death or pain and suffering could be involved?  If so may I suggest you visit a psychiatrist before you visit your family doctor.

Power and Stupidity

This week was proof positive the democrats in Congress are power hungry to the extreme and the republicans and simply stupid beyond belief.

First let's consider the power hungry democrats.  They would have no office or power without the Constitution which establishes the office of the President and the Congress.  Before they take office they smile while holding their right hand in the air and placing their left hand on the Bible (or is it the Koran these days?) and they swear to uphold and defend the Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic.

Next they become the arch enemy of the Constitution themselves.  They could care less about the constraints placed on the federal government outlined in this marvelous document, which is the foundation for all of our laws in the United States, that has been the basis for more freedom and prosperity for more people than has ever been experienced in human history.

 In the House of Representatives they passed a health care bill this week that shows just how power hungry and insane the democrats are and also shows they will take away every spec of your liberty and freedom unless they are stopped soon.

With this bill they are saying that they have the power to force every citizen in America to buy a particular product.  And if you don't what will they do?   Fine you heavily and throw you into prison for up to 5 years... for not buying health care insurance... and only the kind they approve!

The Constitution in no way gives them the authority to do anything even close to this, but they could care less.  And as long as their are enough idiots in America that are able to pull the lever for these lunatics on election day they will do as they please.  But let me guarantee you one thing.  Our standard of living will drop like a stone and our freedoms will be nothing but a distant memory.  This is not theory; it is already happening now.

Now let's deal with the incredibly stupid republicans.  With the bill as written by the democrats it could not pass even though they had an overwhelming majority.  There was an internal fight among the democrats about certain areas of the bill.  In particular, many democrats would not vote for it if it contained federal funding for abortion.  So it would have simply died in the House.

If they had a lick of sense the republicans from the very start would have made it clear the Constitution in no way authorizes them to force Americans to buy health insurance and offered no amendments or participation in the Marxist action whatsoever.  

But no, here come the dummies to the rescue!  They push an amendment to ensure there is not any federal funding for abortion and this then allows enough democrats to vote for it to put it over the top by a super slim margin.  It was so close that if 3 representatives had voted "No" instead of "Yes" then the bill would not have passed.

Now I'm against abortion on demand and I'm certainly against federal funding for abortion.  But that is not the point.  By making this change the republicans gave cover to enough democrats on the issue to vote for the bill.  As long as it is alive it is a threat to our nation.

The republicans had a chance to kill it by staying away from it, but they were simply not smart enough to do that.  So now it is up to the Senate.  Are the republicans there any smarter than they are in the House?  Don't bet the farm on it.

Folks I can't stress enough what a disaster this thing will be for Americans if it becomes law.  You will be forced to pay a large percentage of your income for health care that will be greatly diminished from what it is now.  This may be the price we all have to pay for stupidity.  Can we afford it?  No.  The final outcome will be ugly.

Idiots are Amusing but Expensive

Idiots are amusing, but they can also be expensive when they are in control of government.  They are extremely expensive to your liberty and to your pocketbook.

They want to control what you eat..... how you heat and cool your house.... what car you drive.... and of course the ultimate control they want is to control your health care.  That way you have no real say in anything.  You see, they know what's best for you and are certain you are too dumb to take care of yourself and your family.

These people are arch enemies of freedom and capitalism.  If you don't believe it, just look at what is happening to this country now.  We are moving farther and farther from freedom and prosperity into absolute insanity and tyranny.  If this Airhead Obama gets his way on everything he wants a 10% unemployment rate will look like boom times in the future.

As an example, here is a guy in England who is just as nutty as the liberals here in the US.  Let's see what he says, shall we?

Also notice how the pea brains of these idiots always work the same.... they are always wanting to "redistribute the wealth" by force of government.  In other words, they know what's best for this planet and human kind.  So what if you worked out some money through hard work and ingenuity.  They think the world's poor should have it and by God they will take it from you if you keep voting these lunatics into power.

Lower and Middle Class Suckers

Hey, all you lower and middle class suckers out there...... hear this.

You Obama supporters bought the lie about how only the "rich" were going to pay for everything while you got a free ride, didn't you?

Well if the health care bill comes through as the democrats want it you are going to be forced to pay hefty premiums for health care insurance whether you like it or not.

And if Cap and Trade gets passed, which the democrats are also pushing, look for your utility bills to double in the next few years from extra taxes alone, not even counting inflation.  

I guess the old saying, "There's a sucker born every minute", is true for at least 52% of the US population.

Bankruptcy Stats Not in Speech

Did you notice Obama forgot to mention the latest bankruptcy stats in his speech to a Joint Session of Congress this week?

What he did say was this:

"But thanks to the bold and decisive action we have taken since January, I can stand here with confidence and say that we have pulled this economy back from the brink."

However, an article the next day says this:

Nationally, individual Chapter 11 bankruptcy filings jumped 73 percent in the second quarter from a year earlier, according to the National Bankruptcy Research Center, a research firm in Burlingame, Calif.

So far this year, more Chapter 11 non-business cases have been filed in Middle Tennessee than all of last year, according to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the Middle District of Tennessee. Thirty-nine personal Chapter 11 cases have been filed in 2009, compared with 11 by this time last year.

Somebody is a liar... is it Obama or the author of this article?

Spineless Republicans and Lying Democrats

I'm not sure who I like least.... spineless Republicans or Lying Democrats. That seems to be the only choice we have these days.

The young King began his speech with a fairy tale that goes like this:

"But thanks to the bold and decisive action we have taken since January, I can stand here with confidence and say that we have pulled this economy back from the brink."

This is of course a lie as the unemployment rate just keeps marching higher, the federal deficit is through the roof, and the dollar is hitting new lows, dropping almost 15% since Obama took office.

Then he told lies about illegal immigrants and abortion services. Republicans introduced bills to ensure illegals could not get free health care and abortions would not be funded by this health care bill. But the democrats blocked these amendments.

Next Obama himself called those who dared to tell the truth about his plan liars while reading from his disgraceful TelePrompTer.

Joe Wilson couldn't take it anymore and shouted to the President "You Lie". Joe Wilson told the truth.

But the Republican leadership forced him to apologize. This is spineless and pathetic. Under normal circumstances it would not be appropriate to make such an outburst in a Joint Session of Congress. But these are not normal circumstances. It is a time when we have a man calling himself President who will stand in that chamber and tell lie after lie while calling those who read from the bill liars.

Wilson should have been backed 100% by his Republican colleagues. When asked by the media they should have used the occasion to list the lies Obama told during this angry speech.

You know who he is angry at? The American people. They are just a bunch of hayseed hicks you see, probably bitterly clinging to guns and God. How dare they oppose his grand plans to rule their meaningless lives.

Even the Title is a Lie

All summer long our young King who knows what is best for all Americans has been pushing what is called the "Public Option" for his health care plan.  Sounds nice, doesn't it?

By the titile it sounds like they would simply offer a low cost insurance option for those who don't have health insurance coverage.  All citizens would be free to take it or leave it.

But of course nothing could be further from the truth.  The house bill H.R. 3200, which is over 1,000 pages, is what Obama wanted to become law before the August recess this year.

The "option" in that bill is as follows:

    a.  You will do as the King says or you will be pay a hefty fine.

    b.  You will buy health insurance or you will be penalized.

    c.  You will eventually be forced into the government insurance plan through the provisions in the bill that penalize employers and make you take the government insurance if you change your present insurance.

    d.  You will have the same option to take or leave this government insurance as you have now on whether your employer deducts Social Security from your paycheck.

    e.  The IRS will be used to make sure you do what Obama wants regarding your own personal health care.

And on and on it goes.  

Bottom Line:  When even the title of something is a lie you know those who are pushing whatever it is are liars.

An Arrogant Liar of Monumental Proportions

Let's face it; Obama is the most arrogant liar that has ever been anywhere near the

Oval Office....

and that is saying a lot.  And he was combative tonight as well thereby showing contempt for all the average citizens who have been protesting against his plans in the townhall meetings.

Let's take an example.  Right off the bat Obama said this:

"But thanks to the bold and decisive action we have taken since January, I can stand here with confidence and say that we have pulled this economy back from the brink."

The latest U-6 unemployment has recently hit a new high at 16.8%.  This alone tells you Obama is lying.

Our debt has increased hundreds of billions of dollars in the few months Obama has been

in office. This says Obama is a liar...

the economy is in fact going up in flames while Obama tries to throw another log on the fire

with nationalized health care.

Then Obama gets back into fairy tale mode and tells us he can cover all these millions of extra people and yet it won't cost us any more money.  He says they can save hundreds of billions from running medicare more efficiently (LOL).

Hey Obama.... your plan sounds like a great idea.  Let's make the whole nation go onto a plan like medicare where you say the fraud and inefficiency is so rampant that taxpayers have been spending hundreds of billions extra each year to the point the country is rushing toward bankruptcy.

But you are going to wave your magic wand and correct all that, correct?  You are either a liar or a magician, and your name isn't Merlin.

The health care speech tonight was so bad that one lawmaker could not contain himself and called Obama a liar

during the joint session of Congress speech on national television.

He later apologized for the outburst.

Was this good manners and appropriate in that setting?  Probably not, but then maybe so

since Obama himself called people liars, who have told the truth about his plans, in the speech.

Was the lawmaker telling the truth when he said Obama is a liar?  Absolutely.

In short, we have a man in the White House who is an arrogant liar with a total disregard for the wishes of the American people.  Remember, he knows best for you and you will take it whether you like it or not.

As I said months ago they are going to ram this down our throat and the very slim chance of stopping it is if the democrats get into a food fight among themselves. But Obama will be putting maximum pressure on them to bow down and do what the King demands.  And remember, he wants it done yesterday.

The Magic Number is 112

King Obama has given 111 speeches on health care in an attempt to explain and sell his vision of government health care that according to him, and I kid you not, will be more efficient and increase competition in the health care arena.

Now we see the following:

So it looks like speech number 112 is the magic number according to Biden.  But don't hold your breath because they have been lying about what they really want from speech 1.  To get those details you have to go back to speeches he made before he became President where he clearly says he wants a government single payer system even though it may take 15 or 20 years to get there.

Really folks.... speech number 112 is where you lay out specifics on health care?

Is this man-child not the most inept and incompetent boob you have ever seen?

Obama gives On-the-Job Training a bad name..... and shows that OJT is not a good idea for the position of President of the United States.  Next time the American people might want to elect someone who has done at least one of the following before becoming President:

a.  Served in the Military.

b.  Started and operated a successful for profit business in the free market system.

c.  Served in an executive position for an extended period of time in government.

d.  Served in an executive position or an extended period of time in a for profit business.

e.  Some other experience where most people would recognize that you have held a real job. 

It's your choice; elect experienced people for President or suffer Presidents who offer specifics on their most important programs in speech number 112.

The Reality of Socialist Health Care

Hey, I just want to stand up and testify.  I lived for 10 years in a former republic of the USSR that has this wondrous thing called 'socialized medicine'.  While the conditions were always cleaner than this picture, I've seen (and stayed in) beds about like that one with cloth mattress that had no cover and stains from people and things that you don't even want to allow your mind to consider.  I've seen wooden floors that were in danger of falling in and most places required you to bring your own food and meds.  On top of that, even though it was officially free, since the government paid the health care workers so poorly, they required unofficial payments to mess with you.  I can hardly wait...

Since we haven't met I didn't know you had lived in the USSR.... it is no wonder you understand the truth about what I'm saying regarding how these systems "work".  

What I find amazing about this world is how liars always tell you the truth.... by that I mean just take what they say and turn it on its head to get the truth.

So for instance, the liars like Marx and Castro will tell you that they are for the people... the little guy you know.  But in fact regular folks are the ones who are enslaved and impoverished beyond belief by their system of government.

The Soviet Union, East Germany, North Korea, Cuba, and on an on it goes.... the outcome is always the same under these systems.  The regular folks have no money, no freedom, and no hope.

Again isn't it ironic that Obama talks about hope all the time and yet he wants to march us toward a system where there is no hope... only government bureaucrats who will control every aspect of your life.  But go back to what I said above and you will see that once you have identified someone as a bold face liar then simply listen to what they say, flip it on its head, and there you will have the truth.

You bring up another good point.  In most of these situations where the people working have no incentive to provide quality goods and services, to include health care, the people often have to bribe them to get much of anything.  And when you are dirt poor this makes a bad situation even worse.  

I can imagine that these health care systems where you have to bring your own food and sheets for the bed to the hospital really offer the very best doctors and medical technology... yes sir, really world class I'm sure.  That's why I call it Hell Care.

My original commentary...

In any communist society there is good food, good shelter, the best medical care the country can offer, and untold wealth for the privileged few who rule the country.

For everyone else though I'm afraid life is not so good.

You see the rulers will rule and you will do as you are told or be thrown in jail or killed without any legal rights or ways to exercise your rights... since you have no rights.

Your existence will be sustained by the most meager of earthly possessions.  As to your health care, well, let's just say that a picture tells the story..

This is just one of the many pictures that show what type of hell care the normal citizens get in Cuba and my guess is that North Korea

is likely even worse.

One of the greatest fallacies about the so called 'Cuban Revolution' has to do with healthcare.

Foreigners who visit Cuba, are fed the official line from Castro's propaganda machine: "All Cubans are now able to receive excellent healthcare, which is also free." But the truth is very different. Castro has built excellent health facilities for the use of foreigners, who pay with hard currency for those services.

Argentinean soccer star Maradona, for example, has traveled several times to Cuba to receive treatment to combat his drug addiction. But Cubans are not even allowed to visit those facilities. Cubans who require medical attention must go to other hospitals, that lack the most minimum requirements needed to take care of their patients.

In addition, most of these facilities are filthy and patients have to bring their own towels, bed sheets, pillows, or they would have to lay down on dirty bare mattresses stained with blood and other body fluids.
