Global Warming Hoax Exposed

For years I've said that man-made global warming is a hoax.  Now this hoax has been exposed through emails from the "scientists" who have been pushing this scam.

I've listed some of my previous commentaries on this subject below, but first let's take a look at the evidence of fraud among the proponents of this scam which was created for displaced communists and wealth redistribution types like Barack Hussein Obama.  Since he has bought this lie hook, line, and sinker, and wants to raise your utility rates significantly through Cap and Trade to fight "global warming", it is just more evidence supporting my claim that our young King is in fact an airhead.

Idiots are Amusing but Expensive

Idiots are amusing, but they can also be expensive when they are in control of government.  They are extremely expensive to your liberty and to your pocketbook.

They want to control what you eat..... how you heat and cool your house.... what car you drive.... and of course the ultimate control they want is to control your health care.  That way you have no real say in anything.  You see, they know what's best for you and are certain you are too dumb to take care of yourself and your family.

These people are arch enemies of freedom and capitalism.  If you don't believe it, just look at what is happening to this country now.  We are moving farther and farther from freedom and prosperity into absolute insanity and tyranny.  If this Airhead Obama gets his way on everything he wants a 10% unemployment rate will look like boom times in the future.

As an example, here is a guy in England who is just as nutty as the liberals here in the US.  Let's see what he says, shall we?

Also notice how the pea brains of these idiots always work the same.... they are always wanting to "redistribute the wealth" by force of government.  In other words, they know what's best for this planet and human kind.  So what if you worked out some money through hard work and ingenuity.  They think the world's poor should have it and by God they will take it from you if you keep voting these lunatics into power.

Global Warming Hoax Update

The global warming hysteria continues and recently we witnessed a laughable article symbolizing this fact.

In the article, Obama Left with Little Time to Curb Global Warming, AP Science Writer Seth Borenstein wrote that global warming is "a ticking time bomb that President-elect Barack Obama can't avoid," and that "global warming is accelerating."

David Deming, a geology professor at the University of Oklahoma, says... 

"The mean global temperature, at least as measured by satellite, is now the same as it was in the year 1980. In the last couple of years sea level has stopped rising. Hurricane and cyclone activity in the northern hemisphere is at a 24-year low and sea ice globally is also the same as it was in 1980."

He took issue with the AP article's assertion that melting Arctic ice will cause global sea levels to rise.

"When the Arctic Ocean ice melts, it never raises sea level because floating ice is floating ice, because it's displacing water," O'Brien said. "When the ice melts, sea level actually goes down.

"I call it a fourth grade science experiment. Take a glass, put some ice in it. Put water in it. Mark level where water is. Let it met. After the ice melts, the sea level didn't go up in your glass of water. It's called the Archimedes Principle."

He called sea level changes a "major scare tactic used by the global warming people."

I confirmed that sea levels are not rising myself in the summer of 2007.  In a carefully controlled experiment I got in my car and drove to Myrtle Beach, SC.  Sure enough, the beach was at the same place as it was many years earlier.  The businesses and hotels were still located in the same place.  Nobody had moved because of rising sea levels.

But if there is some way the cost of utilities can be raised significantly through added costs to "stop global warming before it is too late" then guys like Al Gore and Barack Obama are all for it.  I would be too if the hard evidence for man-made global warming was solid, but that is simply not the case.

I'm for clean air, clean water, and the like.  We should take reasonable steps to stop pollution of our oceans, our land, and our atmosphere.  However, the key phrase is reasonable and must take into account property rights and other factors instead of allowing the EPA to ruin peoples lives for no good reason.  Also, let's not make costly decisions based on junk science; that is not the best use of our precious resources and in the end does not save the planet but instead simply lowers our standard of living.

A new vehicle is now on the market which costs less than 10 cents per day to operate according to the company.  It uses batteries which will run 24 hours on a dime's worth of electricity.

Key Facts and Photos of ANWR

Check out the info on the link below concerning Alaskan National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR).  It has some nice photos and facts in summary form as well.

The environmentalists say if you drill up there the environment will be ruined and the polar bears and caribou will die.

Just one problem.  I traveled to Alaska in October of 1975 for a miltary assignment that would last several weeks.  On the long civilian flight to Alaska I talked with several of the "pipeliners", i.e., the guys who were building the oil pipleline that we have been using for the last 30 years.

They were heading up to work at Prudhoe Bay in the North Slope borough of Alaska.  Because of the brutal weather conditions and travel difficulties they would work in chunks of time which amounted to about 6 months of the year.  But they were being paid big money for the time and so they considered the hard work and isolation worth it.

Since then the polar bear and caribou populations have increased.

The new drilling proposed would be also in the north part of Alaska and would use 1/10,000 of the total acerage in ANWR, and ANWR is only a small part of Alaska.

So of course once again we are dealing with people who have political agendas.... not valid environmental concerns regarding the proposed drilling in ANWR.

Given the prospect of drilling in ANWR vs. the possibility of energy shortages which could literally lead to economic collapse and starvation for millions of Americans, I'm for drilling in ANWR and offshore.... the sooner the better.

Hurricane Exposes Truth

As many of you know, my friend Phil in Canada believes Cubans have better health care than Americans and that Michael Moore actually produces documentary movies rather than laughable propaganda.

It sounds like they have evacuation plans and procedures for hurricanes (good idea based on their location).  But let's take a closer look at what life is like for Cubans from a recent AP story to see if it is even plausible that they in fact have a superior health care system as loud mouth fatso Michael Moore says.

Yes this sounds like Castro has created a real economic powerhouse in the last 49 years just like Michael Moore claims.  It is truly an island paradise.

They a superior political system that allows their citizens to live in comfort and even provides with a health care system superior to that of their poor neighbor to the north.... the United States of America... where, if you can believe it, some of their citizens actually have to purchase their own insurance or pay doctors out of their own pocket to take care of their medical needs.

Hurricanes, Models, and Suckers

One of the "scientific" justifications for pontification by Al Gore and other hucksters is computer modeling.  These people look into the camera with a straight face and tell you the models show that man made global warming is occuring and is a scientific fact.... the debate is over Gore says.

As a computer scientist, I can make a computer model show that you are an alligator if you like.  Don't like reptiles?  OK, I'll make you a monkey then.... or any other outcome that you desire.  All I do is tweak a few parameters and Presto! you are an elephant if that is the outcome needed to keep that research grant money rolling in.

Simulations and models can be useful, but when it comes to predicting the temperature of the earth 100 years from now they are useless.  Want proof?

Volcanoes and sunspot activities can greatly affect the energy that reaches the earth and thereby greatly affect the final outcome of the temperature of the earth during a given period.  Now let me ask you, do you think these people can say for sure how many volcanoes will erupt and what the magnitude of those eruptions will be in the next 100 years?

Do you think they can tell you precisely what the solar activity will be during that time?  Hint:  In 2006 they predicted as many as 18 hurricanes.... going to be a bad year for the US they said.  We had zero hurricanes.  Last month they were surprised at the lack of sunspot activity.

So ask them to tell you precisely what it will be in, oh say the year 2056 for example.  And if they are sure of what it will be then demand proof they have correctly predicted in advance exactly what the solar activity was going to be over the last few years.  They can't do it.  They can guess.  They can estimate.  But they can't say for sure.

Now consider hurricane Gustav with non stop news coverage for 5 days.  They had lots of different computer models, all of which had different predictions of an event that would take place within days....not 100 years from now.

Even when the hurricane was within 24 hours of landfall they could not say for sure exactly where it would hit and what the category would be.  Why?  Because the computer models are simply not that accurate.

So the next time you hear Al Gore or other global warming nuts spouting off about how they know the earth is going to warm 1 degree in the next 100 years because of man's activities, just imagine them as a carnival barker trying to get ignorant suckers into their circus tent.

And if you hear a Presidential candidate telling you that we will look back at this moment and realize that it was the time the earth began to heal and the oceans began to recede then you know that this is almost certainly a carnival barker who is simply on a bigger stage.

They hire carnival barkers for their speaking ability.... which is Obama's main asset provided he has a teleprompter.  To confirm my suspicions about his true experience and background though, I just want to hear him say...

"HURRY, HURRY, HURRY..... LADIES AND GENTLEMEN.... RIGHT THIS WAY......"

Then we will know for sure that he has in fact held at least one job in his life.

We have 3 candidates.  It's a tough choice, but you decide.  Please provide me feedback on your decision and rationale for your choice.

Contestant # 1

Nancy Pelosi:  "Drilling is a hoax", "it's about saving the planet"

She demonstrated her commitment to saving energy by turning off the lights and C-Span cameras on the Republicans who were trying to get an energy bill passed and promptly began her 5 week vacation.  She has rejected calls for a simple up or down vote on energy bills; I'm assuming this is because when they use those electronic devices they use electricity and therefore further destroy the planet.

I guess she also didn't notice that there are many oil rigs in the Gulf and around the world being operated today and the planet is still here and yes beaches are still open.  With today's technology there are few spills and if there is one they clean it up.  Also, I guess she didn't read where more oil actually seeps up through the ocean floor when there are no oil rigs in the area to relieve the pressure.

How about this...let's shut down all drilling for 30 days around the world to see if drilling is in fact a "hoax" as Speaker Pelosi asserts.

Contestant # 2

Barack Obama: inflating our tires and getting tune-ups would save just as much oil as off-shore drilling.

He also said after becoming the presumptive nominee for the democratic party,  "I am absolutely certain that, generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children.......this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal…"   

No figures were given about what percentage of tires are low and by what percentage of recommended tire pressure they are low and correlated this to the miles driven, average miles per gallon, etc., to arrive at this conclusion.  I'm sure that he also did not factor in the fact that a significant portion of the population is not going to change their habits regarding keeping their tires inflated thereby crippling any savings he is counting on through his inflation program.

Also I suppose he didn't get the memo that for the last 20 years most new autos have fuel injection and electronics that make tune-ups unncessary for years (most manufacturers recommend the first real tune-up at 100,000 miles).  Again, where is his data to back this up, to include the percentage of cars not running at peak efficiency, etc?

I guess it's now a race between him and Pelosi; she has staked out a strategy of saving the planet while he has decided to go with healing the planet.

Jesus healed a few sick people, but Barack doesn't bother with the small stuff.  He operates on a more strategic level.

Contestant # 3

John Edwards:  I only had a short affair with this woman in 2006.  The baby is not mine.

Yes that is why he was observed sneaking in the hotel through a service elevator at 09:45 pm to visit the woman for 5 hours.  Then when trying to sneak back out he was caught by reporters and ran to hide in a bathroom, later to be escorted out by security guards.

You see, when you have a "short affair" in 2006 with someone while your wife is suffering with cancer, you simply must meet this person again in 2008 at a hotel room to talk over old times and how that you had a short affair a couple of years ago, but thank goodness it is over now.  Plus you simly must spend some time seeing and holding another man's illegitimate child.

Only a test will determine if it was his baby; she may have been having an affair with half the campaign staff for all we know.  But to say the affair was over in 2006 when you have just been caught a couple of weeks ago spending 5 hours in a hotel with her qualifies you as contestant number 3 in the nutcase sweepstakes.

The flood this year was caused by..... drum roll please..... MAN MADE GLOBAL WARMING according to the White House!!!

Until the temperature of the earth warmed up almost one degree over the last hundred years minus the 3/4 of a degree it dropped last year, leaving a grand total of 1/4 of a degree over the last one hundred years.... the earth never experienced any floods, hurricanes, or weather disasters of any kind, right?

But now we are in a climate crisis because the average earth temperature has increased about 1/4 of a degree over the last 100 years all because of the evil US pumping out all that carbon dioxide you know.  If you don't believe it, just pick up a newspaper, turn on the radio or TV news.  The issue is settled; no need for further investigation or debate on this one.

Here is a couple of things you may or may not know....

1.  Carbon dioxide forms approximately 0.04% of the Earth's atmosphere.

2.  Carbon dioxide is released to the atmosphere by a variety of natural sources, and over 95% percent of total CO₂ emissions would occur even if humans were not present on Earth. For example, the natural decay of organic material in forests and grasslands, such as dead trees, results in the release of about 220 gigatonnes of carbon dioxide every year. This carbon dioxide alone is over 8 times the amount emitted by humans.

By the way, the water is headed toward New Orleans.  Any bets on whether the citizens of that town will have sense enough to evacuate this time if the situation looks serious?  Or shall we blame President Bush while holding the Democratic Governor, Mayor, and citizens of New Orleans blameless once again?
