Tis the Season to Tax You Silly

Let's have a little music.... Tis the Season to Tax you Silly, fa la la la la.

The natural instinct of a bear is to hibernate in the winter.  The natural instinct of a Democrat is to tax, tax, tax and then tax some more.  Here is a good example of what is to come.

New York Gov. David Paterson has proposed a 4% “iPod Tax” on the sale of downloaded music and other “digitally delivered entertainment services,” according to the AP and various other publications.

Paterson, struggling to close a huge budget deficit, has also proposed a slew of other new fees and taxes: he wants higher levies on gasoline, taxi rides, cable and satellite TV, cigars, beer and wine, and movie and sports tickets, among other things. He’s even calling for an 18% tax on soda and other sugary drinks with less than 70% fruit juice.

Obama Solves Housing Problem

Looks like he's got this housing thing solved (see story below)... on to a solution for food!  Once implemented this will go a long way toward solving the obesity problem in the US.

That's what great leaders do.  They solve multiple problems with a single program.... can't wait to see his health care solution in action.

After Obama's "solutions" to housing were implemented an aerial photo shows they look like the disaster they are.  The man sure knows how to pour money down a rathole, that's for sure.  He needs more power though so he can really waste taxpayer money.

Obesity Case

The kid is 8 years old and weighs in at 184 lbs... and this is not unusual anymore!  When I went into the military I weighed 125 lbs at 5' 10'' of height.

 

This is just another example of what I am saying about what is happening to the population.  I think you will find the article interesting.

Too Fat to Eat Out?

OK, now that this has been proposed the next step is to figure out how to implement it without putting too much of a burden on restaurant owners.  I propose a door of a certain width... if you can't get through it... problem solved.

Or perhaps something like they have in the airport, where you have to put your luggage in a box to see if it would fit.. same idea here.  Perhaps you would have to order while in the box.  This would solve the problem of getting people into the box for a measurement before being served.

Any other ideas on how we can get this important legislation enacted and into practical use?
