My response and email to Phil.....

My friend Bob is wondering if you believe the 10 facts about health care as shown in his referenced article below.  But before you answer let's discuss this a bit.
 
Most anything provided through the free market is superior to similar products or services provided by the government.  Did you ever see the cars produced by governments, such as in the Soviet Union or in East Germany?  Pathetic.  Same thing with shoes; the government can't even do a good job on something as simple as that.
 
With that in mind,  let's see where the Airhead in Chief wants to take our health care system:

 I agree with Bob,s article. The reason is the US citizen can afford better medical help then other countries. You guys have too much money and you need to cut down on your purchases of SUV's, hummers and other big cars. When will you learn? I drive a Yaris you on the hand probably drive the biggest/baddest car the US makes. I can see you in the Lincoln Navigator with a gun rack and Confederate flag or two. Maybe you should buy a chinese car http://www.cheryglobal.com/index.aspx .Not available in Canada or the US but Jamaica and Cuba carry them(poor countries).

Let's break this into categories:
 
Health Care
 
Good to hear you now realize that the US has a superior health care system compared to other countries; that is progress.  For a while Michael Moore, the loudmouth fatso, had you believing Cuba had superior health care for their population when compared to the United States which of course is hysterical to those who understand anything about reality on the blue planet.
 
Wealth
 
You say we have too much money (wasn't it nice this was all waiting for us when the pilgrims arrived to the new world and nobody had to create all this wealth?).
 
Yes that is the way liberal minds think and why they try to attack the "rich" at every turn.  In their world it starts with people who are billionaires but gets all the way down to people who simply have a good job before it is over with.
 
Everyone should be equally poor like they are in those countries where the government has total control over everyones lives.... that is except for the priviledged few in the ruling class who got there not by what they achieved by helping others through inventions, etc., but by being born into the proper family or through corruption.
 
The liberal mind holds to these eutopian ideas that have been shown to be a nightmare for most people time and time again in repeated experiments involving different time periods and different countries and has shown to produce only poverty and human suffering with no freedom for people to enjoy the fruits of their labor.  Liberty and freedom for all in the end benefits not only themselves but all of society.
 
Note:  It's also good to see you have identified Cuba as one of the "poor" countries after 50 years under Castro...."dirt poor" would have been more accurate, but again I feel we are making some progress as to your understanding of the real world.
 
Cars
 
Why not let the market decide which car people drive?  You would prefer to have a government official tell you and everyone else what to drive Phil.  I prefer freedom.  If the price of gasoline goes high enough then more fuel efficient cars will be more attractive to more people and that's where the market will be and what the car makers will respond to at that time.
 
As to what I drive, a couple of years ago I decided to buy a new vehicle.  After trying a number of brands, including the Yaris, I decided to buy a Mazda B2300 pickup truck with a standard shift.  The price of this vehicle brand new was only $10,900.
 
As to gas mileage, I get 33 MPG on the highway and around 28 MPG in the local area.  And get this Phil, I don't have a gunrack or confederate flag in the truck.  But in a free society a person should be able to have both if they so desire along with a weapon to protect themselves and their family should they feel the need to carry one.
 
Racial
 
In past commentaries I have outlined how the liberal mind is obsessed with race and gender and see all discussions of ideas in this prism.  When I wrote "sorry ape" it had nothing to do with race, but everything to do with the fact that the father of Barack Hussein Obama left his child to be raised by the mother and grandparents and therefore did not meet his basic responsibility as a father.  He could have been white, purple, or any other color and he still would be a sorry ape in my book.
 
What is this nonsense about ancestors as slave owners, etc. and how this is always related to blacks in America?
 
Are you so obtuse that you don't realize that many different races have been enslaved during the history of this earth?
 
Do you not realize that without white men fighting other white men over this issue that blacks would still be slaves in America today?
 
Do you not know it was blacks in Africa selling other blacks to white men that allowed the slave trade for the Americas to operate in the first place?
 
Do you realize that a huge number of blacks in America are victims of crime, but that the vast majority of it is black on black crime?
 
Wake up and smell the coffee Phil, or would writing the word coffee be racist too since it has a dark color to it.
 
As to Obama himself, you keep calling him black.  Again this is laughable.  His father was black, but his mother was white.  And he was raised by his white mother and his white grandparents. So any objective analysis would indicate he cannot truly be considered to be a full negro.
 
But you see I could care less what his skin color or race is.... all of my comments are directed at his actions.  Liberals have a hard time grasping this concept.... you know like Martin Luther King said.... judging people on the content of their character instead of the color of their skin.

The King Has Ruled

Long before Obama was elected I stated in no uncertain terms that he would not be interested in being President but would instead act as King should he be elected.  As examples of how he would behave once in office consider the following excerpts from a commentary I wrote in October of 2008 entitled "The Obama Gambit".

"So what this means is that he is willing to knowingly increase the deficit in order to add a higher tax burden on to those who are successful.  In other words, if everybody loses so be it; administering fairness as defined by King Obama is more important.  It is scary how telling this statement is about his intentions." 

"But once in office he will not be burdened by a promise that was contrary to his wishes and instincts anyway.  Obama will simply tell everyone that the economy is bad and so less revenue is coming into the treasury than expected.  Therefore, he has no choice but to raise taxes.  End of story if he has a democratically controlled congress who hated the Bush tax cuts and have been itching to raise taxes again for years."

Today is just the latest example of the new King in action.  He deemed the CEO of GM to be unworthy and had him ousted from the company.  The stockholders and the board members had nothing to say; when the King makes a ruling all other parties are irrelevant.

In addition, he has told Chrysler they have 30 days to merge with Fiat or else.  Imagine that, he has been able to appear on Leno, 60 Minutes, give countless little teleprompter speeches since becoming King and yet had time to fully analyze a major corporation in trouble and have decided the only course of action if for them to be bought by a foreign company.

I expected his actions to be what they are and yet they are still breathtaking to see.  Here are just a few of the jewels in his first 70 days in office:

• Pushed through a $800 billion slab of pork called "stimulus"

• Is pushing a budget that will literally bankrupt the United States or cause massive inflation in the future

• Forced banks to take government money they don't want and has used this as the excuse to dictate employee salaries.  Nobody in these private businesses should be able to make more than the King prescribes.  Do you get this?  Total control of the masses to include the idea of the man sitting in the Oval Office determining salaries across America is the goal.

• He is a health care expert and just knows that the King and his staff can handle this area of the economy much better than the doctors working in at least a somewhat free market.

• Forcing states to take money and then forcing them to spend it as the federal government dictates and then forces them to change their laws which many of the Governors believe would be detrimental to the state in the long run.  It is incredible in that the federal government has no authority whatsoever to do this when you have the normal President and Congress working under the Constitution.  But when you have a King things change; he dictates and the peasants must comply.

• And the most scary of them all, his administration has the nerve to propose that any company.... any company... that the government believes could be failing and would cause a "systemic risk" to the economy, as determined by a man like Timothy Geithner, could simply be seized by the federal government.  Sure you worked all your  life to build the business, but that is secondary to the "best interest of the country" as determined by a government official. 

• This is exactly how they do it in banana republics..... laws mean nothing and the people have no legal rights to property that cannot be seized by the government at their whim.  This is where the United States is headed should the precedents being set by this kingdom be allowed to stand.

Paradise Goes Bankrupt - US Next?

"The Seychelles, the idyllic archipelago in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Africa, is best known as an island paradise playground for celebrities, royalty and the ultra-wealthy. These days, it's better known for something else: bankruptcy."

"And because of its small size, with just 87,000 people, the Seychelles now has the unenviable stature of being perhaps the most indebted country in the world. Public and private debt totals $800 million - roughly the size of the country's entire economy."

"We borrowed more than we can repay," complains Ralph Volcere, the editor of Le Nouveau Seychelles Weekly and a vocal government critic. "This was wholly irresponsible."

This is exactly the path that Barack Hussein Obama has chosen for the United States of America.  His spending in the first 6 weeks in office is literally off the charts and even by very rosy scenarios would double the debt in 5 years triple the debt of the United States in 10 years. 

Notice here their debt is roughly the size of their economy.  This happened only one time in the US and that was during World War II when every American was making incredible sacrifices in order to pay for the effort to stop a maniac from enslaving everyone on planet earth.

Keep in mind that we are now on the path to having debt equal to the bankrupt island, i.e., the size of our country's entire economy.

And here is the scary part.  This is with a limited war (which now can't be called a war), low interest rates that we are paying on the debt, and without the baby boomers retiring and drawing social security.  When this happens in the near future then the cost of funding entitlement programs will skyrocket.

Yes Obama inherited an economy that started having some problems in 2008.  But what is he doing?  He is spraying gasoline on the fire with the biggest spending programs in history.  And "stimulus" programs are not enough.  He wants to add billions for government health care too.  Every time you turn on the TV they are proposing more spending.... of money that has to be borrowed.

So Obama and the democrats are doing what they always want to do; tax and spend and regulate.  Unfortunately President Bush didn't hold the line on spending as much as he should have either yet Bush looks really frugal compared to what Obama and his buddies such as Pelosi, Reid, Frank, and Dodd are spending.

And yet true to form he gets an $800 billion dollar pork bill passed one day, talks about reducing the deficit the next day, then talks about another $650 billion for health care the next day.  This is exactly how the guy operates; I've seen him do it over and over in his short time in office.  He gives you a phrase that sounds good, but has nothing to do with the reality of what they are actually doing.

In other words, this guy is taking to an art form the method of saying whatever sounds good regardless of what the truth is... he has demonstrated that he really could care less what the truth is and it will not get in the way of him repeating his focus group tested phrases.  That's the way evil Kings operate.  They have the power and will say and do as they please. 

Even if you have a printing press for your currency the laws of economics will win in the end.  In other words, the government cannot print money to solve the problem.  Only productive activities by the population create wealth.

If you are a liberal I'm sure you don't believe me.  You think Obama is the smart guy with the highest IQ known to man when in reality he is a monumental airhead.

Let's settle this dispute here and now.  Suppose Obama decides to make us all rich overnight and directs tax cheat Geitner to deposit $10 million dollars in everbody's checking account tomorrow.  Will we all be rich?

If you think the answer is yes then you are a complete idiot and it is no wonder you voted for a man like Obama.  OK you say, spell it out for us.  All giving everyone $10 million would do is cause absolute chaos as everyone would want to retire immediately.  Then when the population suddenly realized their money wouldn't buy them food for their table because the people that work at the grocery store had closed it down because everyone "retired" they would soon come back to work but at a huge salary and a huge price for goods or services.

In other words, massive inflation would result.  Why?  Because if you have $10 million dollars in the bank you are not going to work for minimum wage are you?  Of course not.  After the initial chaos people would have to begin trading their services for dollars once again but at a much higher price for every good or service purchased.

So Obama is running up the balance on the credit card and hopes we don't hit our credit limit anytime soon. But one day my friend we will hit the limit on deficit spending.

Who will impose the limit?  Those who buy our debt. These days the Chinese are playing a big role in that.... how does it feel now to have our Secretary of State begging the Chinese to continue buying our debt?

This is only a glimpse into our future unless this debt situation is dealt with through drastic cuts in government spending. Obama is taking us in the opposite direction.

Any Experience Needed?

 I agree that Obama did not serve or start a business but Regan and Nixon never started a business and never went to war. Bush on the other hand was in the National Guard is I guess that is military in your country and the business he started did not stay under his control for very long. Last night I watched Jay Leno interview Obama. Your President came over as a smart man and someone who knows what he is doing.
   You keep sending me criticism of Obama but never a word of praise. You first anti Obama email was that he was not born in the USA. You never mentioned that McCain was not born in the USA. When you worked with me in Ottawa you used to rant about Clinton. I guess you believe only Republicans make good presidents.

My response.....

First, I have no praise for Obama.  For a man to be so arrogant as to believe he should be the President of the United States when he has such little experience in life and no experience as an executive in a money making enterprise, no executive experience in government, and no experience as a military officer gets nothing but contempt and disdain from me.
 
I may be incapable of getting the facts about the utter lack of experience that would qualify Obama to be President across to you..... I've always said the liberal mind is impervious to facts so maybe that is where the problem lies.
 
But let me try a couple of things.  First, the Constitution does not say you have to be born inside the United States but does say you have to be a natural born citizen to become the President.
 
There are ways to be considered a natural born citizen even if you were not physically born in the US. John McCain is the only man in American history to run for President whose father and grandfather were both 4 star Admirals in the US Navy.   So to trot out the idea again that he was not an American citizen because he was born in Panama while his family was serving in the Navy is simply ignorant or retarded.
 
Obama's father on the other hand was not even an American citizen much less a high ranking US military officer.  He was another sorry ape who has kids then leaves them to be raised alone by the mother or grandparents or the state.  And his mother was too young to confer citizenship if he was born outside the US.  Do you see any difference so far?
 
Of course the democratic Congress was interested in doing a big investigation on this to make sure McCain was legally a natural born citizen, but with Obama they were not concerned with it even though it was known his father was from Africa.  Given this, do you see how they could care less about the Constitution and rule of law?  It's all about politics with them plain and simple.
 
Answer me this Phil.  If he is a legitimate US citizen with a legitimate birth certificate why doesn't he simply show it to the world?  A real one... that shows who his parents are, what hospital he was born in, what doctor delivered him, etc.  and not the "certificate of birth" he put on his web site which essentially just says he exists but reveals nothing about where and when he was actually born along with the pertinent facts regarding his birth.
 
Why has he spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on legal fees to keep the record sealed on this?  Is he insane or does he have something to hide?  Those are the only two choices it would seem to me.
 
And since he claims to be so transparent, why has he sealed his school records?  What is he hiding Phil?
 
As to the experience Obama had to be President (Chief Executive Officer and Commander in Chief) I've clearly outlined that he has no executive or military experience whatsoever that would remotely qualify him for the position.
 
You bring up other Presidents such as Nixon, Reagan,  and George Bush and make it sound as if they Obama had comparable experiences to them before they became President.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  Whether you liked their politics or not these men had actual life experiences as executives and military men before becoming President.
 
Now here is the test.... see if you can spot any life experiences that would qualify these men to seek the Presidency.

Did you spot any differences in qualifications and life experiences between these men and Obama that would qualify them to be President?

All had executive experience in the military and or civilian world.  Obama himself said his toughest challenge before becoming President was paying off his school loans and I'm not even sure he did that.

How right you are.... except as I noted liberals are impervious to facts.... they just bounce off their empty skulls like raindrops on a glass window.... so I'm not sure they ever even penetrate enough so that they could be confused by them.

 

Notice right off he said Nixon never went to war.... 10 seconds of research shows that to be factually incorrect.  But liberals are all about feelings.  I had to laugh when he said Obama sounded like a smart man on Leno who knows what he is doing (LOL).  I didn't hear him, but I'm sure he had some of those focus group tested phrases he was using to mesmerize guys like my friend Phil.

 

Obama will say things like.... "we must not waste any money".  Well who can argue with that?

 

But the problem is that was said the day after he rammed through $800 billion in waste and had additional wasteful spending already in the pipeline.  However, if you are impervious to facts then of course all you hear is the phrase that nobody can disagree with and you think the man is reasonable and intelligent when of course the opposite is reality.

Bush Says Help Obama

You have a Airhead and I have mine. Airhead Bush (most hated Pres.) came to Canada and got up to $400 a seat in Alberta for his ramblings. Only in Alberta gun capital of Canada. How could anyone but a redneck pay to hear Bush speak. Madoff is finally behind bars for maybe a month, Liddy and his crew are robbing US taxpayers and the world is going down the drain, all because Bush wanted to make more money for his Texas friends.

You may be right that Bush is an airhead as well..... just a different flavor of airhead.
 
If a man is trying to spend the country into bankruptcy why would it be "essential" to help him do it? Saying you need to help an arsonist strike a match doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
 
One of my biggest beefs with Bush is that he always wanted to be a get along kind of guy with the democrats as they were doing everything in their power to demonize him and destroy him regardless of the consequences to the country. 
 
I think after the deflation we have been experiencing runs its course it will likely be replaced by inflation and more likely high inflation like we had toward the end of the Jimmy Carter years.  So what will the effect of this be?
 
Essentially those who have lost over half of their investments and retirement accounts through the stock market crash will then face a loss of buying power with the remaining money in their accounts.  In  other words, they will effectively be wiped out when this whole cycle runs its course.
 
I think this makes perfect sense.  Overall our population is getting older, fatter, and lazier. In addition over half of the people voted for a man to become President who had never started a business, never been an executive officer of a money making corporation, never been an executive in Government, and had never been in the military.
 
The President is the Chief Executive Officer of the country and Commander in Chief of the military.  So if the population is stupid enough to elect a man to be President who.... seriously now, this is not hyperbole.... had no experience whatsoever that would qualify him to even be considered for the position then we will get what we deserve and I don't think it will be good.
 
That is unless you think a socialist country where the government controls most everything about your life and your opportunities are limited is a good thing.  You get security by taking opportunity off the top.... the opportunity to succeed and the opportunity to fail.  Some like this idea, but those who think like me don't.

Rugged men who were willing to take risks and work 16 hours a day for months and years on end for the chance at becoming wealthy built this country into the greatest economic powerhouse the world had ever seen.

But in Obama's world these type people are to be hindered or stopped. That's because he thinks when one person succeeds it is necessarily at the expense of someone else.  Anything they earn should be redistributed out to those who are not as talented or hard working to be "fair".

Once again the liberal mind has it all wrong.  Hence our economy will suffer.
 
So yes we all remember that the world was a perfect place without problems until that evil Bush came along and wrecked everything, right Phil?  Be sure not to place the blame on innocent parties like the 19 men with boxcutters who wanted to bring western civilization to its knees and were willing to kill themselves to do it.
 
Luckily we have a man who got that community organized up in Chicago (where the crime rate today is through the roof and the kids can't read or write) to do the same thing he did there for the whole country. Heaven help us all if he does.

Plans to Destroy the US Military

The Airhead in Chief is moving swiftly to destroy the morale of the US military to make it much less effective at preventing enemy attacks on US soil in the future.  He is working on several fronts to accomplish this and the most recent has to do with health care for veterans wounded in battle.

While he screams for free medical care for every citizen on one hand he seeks to take away free care for wounded soldiers.  Quite a guy, heh?

And let's see how much the guy who has never served a day listened to Veteran's organizations (remember, he wants to be bipartisan as long as that means having a meeting with those who hold other points of view but totally ignoring everything they have to say)....

"It became apparent during our discussion today that the President intends to move forward with this unreasonable plan," said Commander David K. Rehbein of The American Legion. "He says he is looking to generate $540-million by this method, but refused to hear arguments about the moral and government-avowed obligations that would be compromised by it."

Yes and they've now said you can't even call the people who would love to have a few more 9/11s, only bigger and better, enemy combatants.  I guess we are supposed to call them good friends and neighbors. 

 

He is totally clueless as I said he would be back over a year ago when I had a chance to hear him speak without a teleprompter.  Of course if throwing money at a problem will fix it then he knows how to do that as long as Nancy prepares a document for his signature.

 

And true to how liberals operate, if he says something is one thing you can bet the truth is the opposite. 

 

He signs $800B  in pork one day and the next day he makes his little noontime speech to tell everyone how we have to be fiscally responsible.  No sir, nobody is going to waste any money on his watch he says. (LOL)

 

Of course he spends 175 million (triple the normal amount) on his inauguration and then the next day goes into the office and tells anyone making over $100K a year their salary is frozen. 

 

This is how an evil King operates and treats all the mere peasants under his command.  It's sad and laughable at the same time.

 

In the meantime he thinks Air Force One is supposed to be used at taxpayer expense to fly back to Chicago for a little Valentine party and apparently he doesn't like the White House too much because he is normally not there.  But of course he is very concerned about global warming and taxpayer money.  Him and Pelosi.  Yeah right!

 

He says nobody making under $250K a year will have their taxes raised (most will be cut he says) while at the same time he is proposing the Cap and Trade program which would raise everyones utility bills by at least 20% if not more. 

 

And that "free" health care... won't that be great?  Apparently nobody has to pay for it through higher taxes or higher costs for goods and services or rationing of care and long lines.  If you do it through the Obama way it just floats down like mana from heaven.

 

Bottom Line: He is increasing the overall size of the federal budget by a very large percentage by encouraging Pelosi and crew to bring out everything they ever dreamed of and either the population will cover it by much higher taxes or we will truly run deficits that could seriously threaten the dollar to the point of high or even hyper inflation down the road.

 

But he cares about getting "fairness" into the system by taking down those who produce and giving to those who don't.  My guess is this will cost us all a lot down the road through less opportunities and less productivity which means the US standard of living will fall for a number of years at a minimum.

 

Sometimes the population gets what it deserves and this may be one of those times.

Freed Prisoners Attack US Military

In his first move as Airhead in Chief of the US military Obama thought it wise to announce we were going to close Guantanamo Bay within a year and either release the prisoners held there or bring them inside the CONUS so they could have all the legal rights afforded to US citizens who have been charged with breaking the law.

Let's see how releasing Gitmo prisoners who were considered to be the least dangerous of the bunch over the last few years is working out, shall we?

"WASHINGTON – The Taliban's new top operations officer in southern Afghanistan had been a prisoner at the Guantanamo Bay detention center, the latest example of a freed detainee who took a militant leadership role and a potential complication for the Obama administration's efforts to close the prison. U.S. authorities handed over the detainee to the Afghan government, which in turn released him, according to Pentagon and CIA officials."

"Abdullah Ghulam Rasoul, formerly Guantanamo prisoner No. 008, was among 13 Afghan prisoners released to the Afghan government in December 2007. Rasoul is now known as Mullah Abdullah Zakir, a nom de guerre that Pentagon and intelligence officials say is used by a Taliban leader who is in charge of operations against U.S. and Afghan forces in southern Afghanistan."

"The officials, who spoke anonymously because they are not authorized to release the information, said Rasoul has joined a growing faction of former Guantanamo prisoners who have rejoined militant groups and taken action against U.S. interests. Pentagon officials have said that as many as 60 former detainees have resurfaced on foreign battlefields."

"Armed with a gun and sitting in the car of an alleged Taliban leader, Rasoul insisted to American authorities he was forced to carry the gun by the Taliban. Rasoul told the tribunal in 2005 that in fact he had surrendered with other Taliban members to the Northern Alliance in Konduz on Dec. 12, 2001."

"He told the tribunal that he intended to return to a peaceful life in Afghanistan."

"I want to go back home and join my family and work in my land and help my family," he said, according to a U.S. military transcript of the hearing.

Well I say based on the record to date that every last one of them needs to face a firing squad at dawn tomorrow morning.

The Airhead in Chief of course believes we should treat these folks with dignity and respect; in no case should they be made uncomfortable as this might be considered "torture".

I consider torture to be what the families will go through when their son or daughter comes home in a box because one or more of these enemy combatants were released back to the battlefield.  Their blood will be on the hands of the despicable media and all those who fought President Bush every step of the way as he tried to keep this country safe from people who would destroy us all if given the chance.

President Bush bears some blame for not doing whatever was necessary to get information they had out of them before quickly giving them their trial and execution.  And I don't want to hear any crying about "the innocent".

The 3,000 people that were killed on 9/11 were innocent too so hear this; if you attack the United States there are going to be a lot of guilty and innocent people get killed before it is all over.  If you don't want to be one of them you had better be nowhere near our soldiers making any kind of move whatsoever that could be mistaken as a hostile act.

And your actions Obama will come back to haunt you I'm sure as our enemies are now sizing you up to be the inexperienced fool you are.

Airhead Gifts

What type of gift would an an absolute amateur not ready for prime time and an airhead to boot exchange with Britain's Prime Minister?  Well let's find out, shall we?

First, let's see what the Prime Minister gave to our inexperienced President who is quickly moving the country toward financial ruin with every passing day.....

Now let's see what the empty suit that now occupies the Oval Office of this once great land gave to the Prime Minister....

So embarrasing its laughable... and I assure you other world leaders are taking notice.  Soon those with evil intentions will have enough evidence to know for sure the guy is a "useful idiot" ala Jimmy Carter, but with no experience in the real world.  At least Jimmy had a family business and had been a Naval Officer for a few years. 

This will encourage them to "test" him which will likely lead to an over reaction or an under reaction from Obama.  Neither the test or the response will be good for the US.

Obama Math Doesn't Add Up

No wonder our new President is always calling for more education funding.  If the students are all as poor at math as he is we need improvements in the education system for sure.

He flapped his lips all during the campaign about just taxing the rich in order to pay for all his social spending and socialist ideas.  His definition of "rich" was all over the map, but he finally settled on $250,000 a year in income.

According to Factcheck....

"For simplicity, we'll just focus on the over-$250,000 group. Those reporting adjusted gross income of more than $250,000 to the IRS are projected to make up 2 percent of households next year, when the new president will take office. Those folks will earn 24.1 percent of all income, and pay 43.6 percent of all personal federal income taxes, the Tax Policy Center figures. Under either Obama or Clinton, they might pay even more."

In round numbers...since we are taking in around $3T per year in taxes and those making over $250K a year pay about $1.5T in taxes.... and since he said their income taxes will just go up 5% we see that the increase would only be $75B.

He has already proposed spending that would be 20 times that amount so where do you think this money is going to come from?  And this doesn't even factor in the fact that a lot more people are going to be making less than $250K a year in the future under these socialist policies.

Get ready for skyrocketing taxes in the future folks or a crushing debt that can never be repaid or both.
